Introduction:
Indulge in a delicious adventure as you choose to battle or befriend your enemies to save the day your way! Personalize your cupcake hero and meet charming friends along the way. Leave the world better off than you found it in this turn-based RPG.
Abbreviated Walkthrough:
This is a really cute and relaxing RPG where you play as cupcakes and attempt to make the world a better place. Rainbows and sunshine all around. As this is aimed at the "cozy" crowd, the difficulty is extremely low and there is even a function of battles (with associated achievement) to "befriend" enemies instead of hurting and killing them. However, there is the opposite achievement to kill them still, so balance that until you've done 50 of each. Take note of the list of jellyroll cat locations so you can pet all of them for that achievement as you go through the game. Otherwise, the list is fairly simple and mostly just consists of completing the story. See the guide below for any miscellaneous achievements you may need to mop up before defeating the final boss. Make sure you take note of the Gummy Wyrm boss and defeat it, as losing this fight can still progress the game, but you need to kill it for the associated achievement!
Note on Leveling:
This game has scripted level ups after each of the bosses. You do not earn XP for defeating or befriending regular monsters, so after you get Social Butterfly (100G) and Tough Cookie (100G) battle cease to have a purpose. Just run past all the enemies, progress the story, and kill the bosses. I would highly suggest ALWAYS taking the "battle" option for your skills, and once you learn all of them, that turns into +10 HP per level up which will help keep you alive. For the first 3-4 levels grab the stat that corresponds to your character (main MC = Might, Red Velvet = Moxie, Midnight = Magic) and then give everyone Moxie so they act more quickly in battle. With this setup, you should have no issues against the bosses and will likely not even need to heal much.
