It’s always great when you get a likeable, recurring NPC that you meet throughout a game, whether that’s the accordion-playing Kass in Breath of the Wild, or sun-praising Solaire from Dark Souls. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, we have Skoova, a Sakavian fisherman who is as talented at fishing as he is at telling stories.
During Survivor, you’ll be able to recruit Skoova to fill up the aquarium in Greez’s saloon, and you’ll need to find all twelve of his locations in order to collect the twelve aquatic creatures he catches, and finish this side quest. Doing so will also nab you the aptly-named Skoova Diving trophy in the process, as well.
Recruiting Skoova is as simple as running into him at his location in Foothill Falls and speaking to him. You can spot him from a pretty good distance away thanks to the rather large boat that he uses for fishing, and after exhausting his dialogue, he’ll agree to help catch different fish and aquatic creatures for the aquarium.
In order to collect all twelve of the fish that need to be found, you’ll have to run into Skoove at eleven more locations. The vast majority of these are on Koboh, with a few found on Jedha as well. You can find all of the locations down below.
Koboh Fish Locations
Foothill Falls - See Fish
You’ll obtain the See Fish for the aquarium the first time you meet Skoova in Foothill Falls, near Pyloon’s Saloon and the Abandoned Shack Rumour. Chat with Skoova to recruit him and add the See Fish to your collection.
Ramblers Reach Outpost - Fingertip Garpon
You'll grab the Fingertip Garpon when you meet Skoova on the river right next to Rambler's Reach, not far from the stables.
Smuggler’s Tunnel - Barbed Hookfish
Skoova can be found hunting for The Barbed Hookfish in the pool in the Smuggler's Tunnels, accessible from Cal's room in Pyloon's Saloon.
Gorge Crash Site - Frilled Newt
Return to the Gorge Crash Site near where you first land on Koboh, to discover Skoova fishing in some ponds for a Frilled Newt.
Bygone Settlement - Blue-Finned Crayfish
Skoova can be found fishing on the very border between the Bygone Settlement and the Nekko Pools, where you'll be rewarded with a Blue-Finned Crayfish.
Rift Passage - Big Mouth Faa
Hard to miss, as Skoova is fishing right next to a meditation point in the Rift Passage region. Speak to him to get a Big Mouth Faa.
Devastated Settlement - Blinding Ray Fish
You'll need to have unblocked all three of the wind passages at the centre of the Devastated Settlement. Once you have, ride them up to a long leak opposite the temple with a little pool, where Skoova will fish up a Blinding Ray Fish.
Mountain Ascent - Mee Fish
On your way up the Mountain Ascent route, you'll be able to spot Skoova's Boat from a rocky bridge that you'll need to cross. Head down to speak to Skoova, and he'll grab you a Mee Fish for your troubles.
Viscid Bog - Glottsamcrab
In the Viscid Bog, you'll find Skoova not far from the hut with Stormtrooper armour strung up outside. You can see the location on the map below.
Phon’Qi Caverns - Viscid Lurker
The Phon’Qi Caverns is a secret area on Koboh, located under the shack in Foothill Falls. Once you've got all of your abilities, come back here and explore the caverns - along the way, there's a pool of water at the bottom of a steep drop, where you'll find Skoova.
Jedha Fish Locations
Arid Flats - Snakefish
Skoova's first location is in the Arid Flats right near the Archive. You should be able to spot the pool of water that Skoova will be fishing in on your map, as shown below.
Crypt of Uhrma - Fantailed Laa
The Crypt of Uhrma is accessible by solving a quick and easy puzzle on Jedha. Once you have the ability to dash through green forcefields, return to the crypt and head through it to find Skoova at a little pool. He'll grab the Fantailed Laa for you there.
